Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of Propane Counterbalance Forklift
- Prepare products and materials for shipment
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials
- Track and record units of materials handled
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- WHMIS
- TDG certification is an asset
Qualifications:
- Experience in a warehouse environment required (minimum 6 months)
- LTL loading experience is an asset
- Logistics/ Transportation warehouse experience an asset
- Knowledge of shipping documents is an asset
- Familiarity with pallet jacks, forklift, or other industrial vehicles
- Strong work ethic
- High school education or equivalence
- English language proficiency
- Attention to detail and accuracy of recorded information
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team
- Comply with safety legislation as per the Ontario Health and Safety Act and company policy
- Required experience:
Counterbalance Forklift Operation: 1-2 years
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 /hour plus
