As a member of the Process Engineering team within the Customer Operations department, the successful candidate will be responsible for process development for new product introduction and identifying and implementing significant process improvement initiatives that result in measurable benefits by reducing and/or eliminating non-value added activity resulting in a positive impact to time, cost, customer satisfaction and quality.
::: Roles And Responsibilities:

- Work with cross-functional project teams to develop processes for new product introduction.
- Identify and define multiple process improvement projects and initiatives.
- Select process characteristics that are critical to quality, delivery and cost.
- Work with cross-functional project teams to identify and deliver process improvement initiatives that drive increased customer satisfaction and operating cost reduction.
- Implement process change, track results and monitor metrics to support continuous business process improvements.
- Prepare process maps including gathering data, investigating cause-effect relationships, identifying gaps and recommendations for improvements, and measuring process performance.
- Apply industry best practices and benchmarks and apply ‘best-in-class’ process models and target performance metrics.
- Devise actionable plans for implementation of improvement opportunities.
- Work with the IT department to provide business requirements and set priorities in the development and implementation of metrics and support systems.
- Provide process engineering support and work closely with other groups within the company to gather and analyze data.
- Contribute to summarizing data analysis and findings.
- Learn and adhere to all applicable Health & Safety regulations, both legislatively mandated and as outlined in company policy.

- Process Engineering Skills – process design, data analysis, gap identification, improvement recommendation, change implementation, implementation and monitoring of process controls
- Change management – project management, status reporting, issues management. Prior experience with systems implementation.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, Business and/or related process improvement experience
- 3+ years of applicable work experience (including prior work experience in the Canadian telecommunications industry).
- Strong understanding of and working experience applying at least one of the following -Business Process Management (BPM) SixSigma LeanSIX SIGMA
- Highly developed communication skills
- Experience working within cross functional teams
- Energetic self starter who thrives in a fast paced environment
- Experience with process mapping tools: Visio and iGrafx
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six Sigma certification (Lean Green/Green Belt)
- Experience with statistical software: Minitab
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Work experience within a Customer Operations department for a telecommunications service provider
- Logistics and Supply Chain processes (e.g., order, fulfillment, returns)
- Dispatch processes
- Technical support
