Job Description: Reporting directly to the AR Supervisor and indirectly to the Controller, it will be the responsibility of the Receptionist/AR Assistant to provide customer-focused, reliable and confidential support.
Major duties and responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors; both in person and via switchboard
- Day-to-day maintenance and support of telephone system
- Arrange for upkeep of the front entranceway and reception area
- Light office cleanup as required
- Courier, fax and mail administration
- Assist with daily processing of paperwork
- Assist with maintenance of the AR including customer contact as required.
- Administrative/accounts receivable duties as requested
Requirements: Applicants require:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: must be able to deal with all levels in the organizational structure and the public
- Strong organization skills; detail oriented
- Strong computer skills: experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Oracle applications; an asset
- Previous administrative experience an asset
- Ability to work independently; self starter
