Job Description: Reporting directly to the AR Supervisor and indirectly to the Controller, it will be the responsibility of the Receptionist/AR Assistant to provide customer-focused, reliable and confidential support.

Major duties and responsibilities include:

  • Greeting visitors; both in person and via switchboard
  • Day-to-day maintenance and support of telephone system
  • Arrange for upkeep of the front entrance way and reception area
  • Light office cleanup as required
  • Courier, fax and mail administration
  • Assist with daily processing of paperwork
  • Assist with maintenance of the AR including customer contact as required.
  • Administrative/accounts receivable duties as requested

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: must be able to deal with all levels in the organizational structure and the public
  • Strong organization skills; detail oriented
  • Strong computer skills: experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Oracle applications; an asset
  • Previous administrative experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently; self starter
