Job Responsibilities
. Write, test, debug, maintain, document and deploy SQL statements, scripts, PL/SQL blocks, triggers, stored procedures and applications using a wide variety of tools across the Oracle EBS.
. Design and build Oracle Applications extensions for Financials, Distribution, Inventory, Sales, etc.
. Write technical specifications for extensions
. Prepare and execute test scripts, document and analyze results
. Prepare status reports and documents
. Investigate and fix bugs, defects, data issues, etc
. Perform routine maintenance and/or support operations
. Be able to quickly answer questions regarding functionality and/or features of existing applications and/or scripts
. Other related duties as required
Qualifications
. University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience
. 3 – 5 years experience with Oracle EBS
. Excellent oral and written communication skills
. Excellent organization skills
. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
. Ability to solve problems and think creatively
. Ability to learn and apply new skills and/or techniques in a fast paced and changing environment
. Working functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Applications (V11.5.9) which includes G/L, A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Order Management and Advanced Pricing, Purchasing, Inventory and Costing, BOM, Work in Process, OFA, Discoverer, 6i, Install Base, Service Contracts, Field Service, Shipping Execution, MSCA, iSupplier, iExpense
. Writing advanced queries in SQL/PL SQL
. Strong Oracle SQL skills, PL/SQL
. Strong understanding of 9i/10g Database
. Strong programming skills in C,C++, Visual Basic, Forms, Reports, Java
. Familiar with Windows Operating Systems
. Familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Access,Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical team members as well as members of the business community
. Demonstrated ability to conduct meetings with end users and document business requirements
. Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and design solutions that meet requirements
: Needs to have good communication skills to interface with users. Good understanding of `business process` – finished goods, order entry, purchasing, inventory.
