:::::::::Position:

Trainee Engineer reporting to Sr. Mechanical Process Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Engineers, Designers, and other Trainees engaged in applications engineering for turnkey diesel power generation projects
• Do research type work to provide specific solutions to diesel power plants including developing reference design for standard plants
• General project administrative duties
• Develop P&I Diagrams, and process flow diagrams for EPC projects
• Work on “cost down” value analysis for systems and equipment
• Develop major equipment specifications
• Sizing of equipment, materials selection, pipe sizing, and other aspects of plant designs
• Review of vendor documentation

Qualifications:

• Enrollment in an engineering program from a recognized institution
• Basic proficiency in computerized drafting (AutoCAD) and MS Office (Word/Excel)
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
• General knowledge of power generation
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Organization skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities
